Our 3D scan service creates a digital measurement point cloud of a physical object by projecting light onto its surface. 3D scans produce a highly accurate model of part geometry compared to traditional hand measurements. The automated process allows for the digitization of organic or difficult-to-model objects. Generated computer point clouds can be further processed into a polygonal meshes or CAD surfaces.
